My friend asked me how he should be running and why I thought his knees were always hurting while he ran. The first thing I asked is where does your foot touch the ground first? He said his ankle, then I asked how much does he use his arms and he said he pumps them really fast with his legs. I told him to land mid foot and to keep his feet landing directly under his hips not in front of them. To use his hips to pump the power not his legs muscles and keep his arms relaxed bent and next to his ribs. Then I thought, maybe he and everybody else might just benefit from watching a professional Moses Mosop run in the Rotterdam marathon and see his form in slow motion.
Inspired by the runner Steve Prefontaine to push myself and others against false beliefs about running and exercise in order to find a better way of living. I only aspire to inspire more people to run with heart and live with joy as Pre once did. This site is for the rebellious, minimal, athletic, creative and those that seek the thrills of living an optimal lifestyle!
